never regret what made you smile
for it will have been all the more worthwhile
never regret what made you happy laughter warm glowing inside like holding a newborn bursting with pride shared moments of bliss in days and nights that surley was true happiness

for moments of anger and disapointment pass in a blink and should never be dwelled on
relationships that have came and gone and we have moved on and on
heartbreaking hours tears shed in pain will it ever be right again

but please look back at all these sad times and find that it was not all saddnes heartache and pain for you have forgetten the moments in there
that you once shared the happy times filled with fun and how it felt when you first begun

things that have totaly ripped you apart that once even stopped the beat of your heart
if you look please remember the happiness before the outraged anger

so in life as you strugle on never regret anything thats has come or gone for it mearly masks
things we forgot that swelled our hearts and minds with pride as we build a wall for those too not see where we hide

those intimate moments that went so wrong that ended in laughter and falling about all arms and legs not knowing if it was nice or was it pretend
does it realy matter in the end

so in times when life can go no lower
never regret what you have been for in the dark there is always light waiting to shine ever so bright just open your minds eye and you will
see we cannot change our history

in years to follow when pain is less
look back and see only what was the best
dont dwell on the heartache saddnes and longing

for you may not see what life is offering
a leson to be learned by one and all
life is not one big regret its not a regret at all
