Why not Share The Experience?
Home     About Me     ST1100
It is comming near that time of year
for fireworks to explode colours flashing
the sky lite up with bangs and wizz and sounds of oooos
chidren standing all wrapped up sparklers in their hands
adults jummping six feet back before they go bang.
we all stand huddled around the fire roaring high and warm
happy laughing watching with glee some with wine some with tea
The children dancing running screams of delight that last long into the night friends and family share the fun firework night has begun.
Orginised displays what colours and shapes they show but ends so fast and everyone has to go.
Home displays are the best everyone brings a box trying to outdo
last years fest.
catherine wheels spinning round and a round some dont work leave them far away on the ground.
sausages held on sticks marshmallows too into the fire they sizzle and cook even have a pot of home made soup.
memorys we share when we look back at how fire work night was always packed.
look to the sky full of stars red greens whites and blues go shooting up bursting into crackling showers.
everyone smilling enjoying the view dont matter what age
it always so new
eyes all a glow and full of life sparkling and dancing
those to young to go outside watch from windows wating for one day they too will be outside laughing and playing int the cold night air.
For when they are over and the fire is still hot children giggling for they stil want more you stand next to the one you adore holding hands a cuddle a kiss a smile exchanged watching the embers of the fire disolve to smoke.
To watch the face of ones you care for this night of fun
to see how the child within us all has not forgot how to have fun
their eyes lite up with all that they see
but before that night im sure you all know halloween comes
masks and costumes partys and sweets what two great nights to get your treats
